Palestinian Land Day is celebrated by Palestinians throughout the world to celebrate the significance of land in crucial conflicts. Palestians worldwide celebrate the day in many ways, including award ceremonies for prisoners and martyrs’ families, conferences, and planting activities.
On March 27th, in honor of Earth Day and Palestinian Land Day, 15 male Gaza iYouth members travelled to Biet-Hanoun City to help farmers take care of their land. The iYouth members helped farmers to remove weeds from the fields, prepare the land for planting, and plant olive trees, lemon trees, and thyme. 10 farmers benefited from the local action and promised to make sure the trees grew large enough to serve the Palestinian people.
