I found some documentaries about climate change or environmental issues in the Middle East. Check them out:

Garbage Dreams -- about the Zabbaleen, or garbage collectors, in Cairo. This one's not widely available but they have a long list of future screenings and it might be showing sometime soon near you!

Arab Environment--Testimony of an Old Man. You can watch this short documentary free online! Seems to work better with Internet Explorer.

Wet and Dry -- a short documentary about water use in Jordan. Also free online and also better with Internet Explorer in my experience.
