Rights Camera Action

Outraged about the genocide in Sudan?  Incensed about the lack of access to essential medicines in the Global South?  Angry about university apparel being produced in sweatshops?  Well, here is your opportunity to do something about it!

Americans for Informed Democracy is launching Rights Camera Action; an innitiative that seeks to equip young leaders with the resources and skills to design and implement effective human rights campaigns in their communities.  Participants need to choose a campaign from last year that they wish to emulate and submit a proposal.  Accepted proposals will recieve a mini-grant of $200, plus ongoing support from the AID staff, organizing tools, contacts, materials, and guidance.  To learn more and look at last years campaigns, check out the Rights Camera Action webpage.

Check out Americans for Informed Democracy home and see what they're doing!
