World AIDS Day, Portland Action Center

Globally there are 33 million people infected HIV/AIDS. Here in the US, someone is infected with HIV every 9 1/2 minutes. In highlight of World AIDS Day 2009, Global Citizen Corps will be hosting an event to raise awareness and highlight ways for people to take actoin at Mercy Corps Action Center in Portland, Oregon, on Sunday, December 6th.

There will be live music, informational booths, a short documentary, and snacks!

This event is open to the public so we welcome everyone to come join and fundraise for HIV/AIDS awareness.
