Candlelight Vigil for Haiti

WHERE: Ankeny Plaza (near Skidmore Fountain) in Portland's Old Town / Chinatown neighborhood - next to Action Center

The Mercy Corps Action Center is hosting a candle-light vigil with the Portland Haitian immigrant and refugee community in order to raise $100,000 for Mercy Corps' earthquake relief efforts.

Join us on Ankeny Plaza, near the Skidmore Fountain. The vigil will include remarks by Mercy Corps' Director of Global Emergency Operations, Randy Martin, as well as members of Portland's Haitian community.

Remember to bring a candle.
