Summer Camp for Social Changemakers!

Are you a teen who cares about the environment? Or a teen who supports human rights?  There are summer camps for teens who like volleyball or theater or want to lose weight. But what about for youth like you who want to make a difference in addressing issues that are important to you and your community?

An innovative summer camp for youth ages 11-16, Youth Empowered Action (YEA) summer camp inspires and empowers youth to make a difference by developing the skills, knowledge, and confidence to take action when they return home. YEA campers are the future heads of their high school or college environmental club, community and civic leaders, they may create or run their own nonprofit, or help organize their neighborhood around a vital issue. All youth participants leave with a supportive community of peers and the support of a mentor for one year after the conclusion of the camp.
