Iraq: World Food Day

The GCC youth in Iraq have been working on some incredible Food Security related actions and here are some highlights. GCC youth in Wassit visited one of the poorest locations in the province to prepare a meal for about 50 families from this destitute village.

In Sulimaniya, GCC youth worked with their own families to cook food for 50 orphans.The youth took the orphans to one of the gardens in Sulimaniya and ate dinner there with them, after the dinner the youth and the orphans played games.  GCC youth in Kalar and Kirkuk also prepared food and grilled kebabs to be presented to poor families of the region.
