The Human Rights Conference was held at the Kalar Institute. It raised basic human rights issues especially relevant to a range of revolutions in the region. All the youth wrote their thoughts about general human rights issues in Iraq and on what benefits gained after 2003 they need to protect and develop. It is worth mentioning that the date when the conference was held represents a painful memory for the Kurdish people. The reason is that in the 1980s Saddam Hussein used chemical weapons against Kurdish people, which took the lives of the thousands. The GCC youth in Kalar were invited by their peers at the Kalar Computer Institute to attend the conference.
