Gaza: iYouth Honors Working Mothers On Mother's Day

In 21st of March every year, the world celebrates Mother’s Day. Each son and daughter tries to choose the best gift to give it to his or her Mother, not to celebrate her in this day only, but to tell her we are celebrating you 365 days a year, and to tell her that she is always the best gift he or she has ever had from our God.  This time, iYouth members from Adam Center for the Dialogue of Civilizations, decided to celebrate the working Moms in different NGOs, and to celebrate the Moms of some iYouth members in their homes.The Youth prepared a number of well-arranged flowers to give those to the Mothers, attaching a gift card and bar of chocolate with each flower.

On 21^st March 2012, 10:00 A.M Gaza time, the youth headed into many different NGOs to celebrate the working Moms. Entering the first place was an amazing surprise to us and to the mothers, welcoming us with so many phrases of welcoming was awesome, and gave us the spirit to enter every NGO in Gaza.Heading to the next one, and next one reaching more organizations and mothers there, leaving an amazing impression to the employees and to anyone who sees us.Many mothers told us that this is the most amazing surprise they had for the day, and they were so much thankful for the youth.  We have finished visiting the first batch of organizations at 11:30 A.M, and then went back to the center to prepare more flowers to visit the second batch of organizations, then starting from 1:30 to 4:30 we visited more and more organizations to reach more mothers in this amazing day.

 Finally, we went to 3 of our members’ homes to honor the mothers of our members and to keep the families connected with our activities and their sons’ activities in the program.Overall of 80 Mothers, were reached, 70 of them were Working Mothers in different NGOs, and 10 are Mothers of iYouth members. 10 youth members were engaged in the action.
