Are you a young person in Africa looking for health and fitness information? Then this site is for you.

Youth Fit Africa provides practical information for and about young people interested in sport and recreation, fitness, and good health. Young people, and trainers and coaches, will find useful training and fitness tips, nutrition information, profiles of people involved in sports and fitness, stories about what’s happening, and opportunities, such as events, try-outs, and programmes to get involved in. Kicking of with this web-based portal, Youth Fit Africa will expand to include a print publication, and training for young reporters.

YFA welcome contributions from young writers, in fact, most of our content will be from youth. We're interested in great stories and interesting infomation, in text, photo, video or audio format!

Get Involved

  • Youth: This site is primarily intended for young people and their coaches and trainers. Take your time to browse through the site for useful information and tips. We also hope hear from you, drop us a note, send your information and contributions for consideration for posting.
  • Organizations: Organizations and sports associations working with young people and sports/ fitness, send your information to Youth Fit Africa for consideration for sharing with Youth across the continent. YFA also facilitates training workshops, working with young people to write their own stories about fitness and health.
