USA: Boston - Funding Change Weekend Funding Pitches

From November 16th through the 18th,  ten youth from across the Boston Metropolitan area came together in order to discuss critical development issues and explore ways to address the issues of most pressing need in their community!  Click here to watch the Recorded Stream.

In just two and a half days these youth have teamed up with other participants, developed an action-project with support and guidance from experienced professionals. In addition to sessions on leadership, global citizenship, community mobilization, fundraising, and project design and management, these youth participated in a 3-point live videoconference with Global Citizen Corps leaders in Iraq and Tunisia . As these leaders are currently refining their action project design, they will pitch their design to an expert panel of judges at 3:00PM EST/ 12:00PM PST today for the possibility to receive start up funding of up to $1,000 to put your idea into action.
