Indonesia, Nasi Uduk :)

Hi! I'm the one of GCC Leader from Indonesia. I like to introduce you about the one of Indonesian specially food.
This is yellow rice or nasi kuning with tempe and cassava leaves or sayur daun singkong.
Nasi kuning come from Cianjur, it is a city in the West Java, province of Indonesia, the capital of Cianjur Regency.

Tempe come from Bekasi, a city in the West Java
Cassava leaves come from Bekasi too.

In a nutshell all the foods are the local products. If we always use local produck (in this case is foods), we could make the local farmers more prosperous. Because if we're prefer to use local, they will get much income, then they can satisfying their family. For your information, the farmers in Indonesia are included to pauper. They have to working hard if they want to satisfying their family. But, there are a few foods that can't grow in Indonesia, example soybean. It causes by the land in Indonesia is didn't match with soybean. So, they can't growing. Therefore, we can import soybean from US.
The local products are not always looks terrible. As we can see right now, local farmers always trying to evolving their plants, so people will prefer to buy local product. Now, Indonesia trying to export their product to the other countries, examples seaweeds.
So, can we proud with our products?
