every year my friends and I participate in a local walk that helps raise awareness and funds for the less fortunate in our community. all the funds from the walk are used to buy food, christmas presents, and pay electrical bills for those who need assistance. the walk encourages people to be active and also allows for them to learn more about what they can do to help others in their communities.
