I felt nervous reading the graph provided by WHO ranking Quetta as one from the five world’s most Polluted cities. I am afraid what will be the future of the people living in Quetta? If it continues that way I don’t think we will be having a safe life.

Once upon a time Quetta Valley was known for its glory and beauty, Having a height from the sea level keep her cooler. The Hana lack was always having bluish water in her depth. The greenery inside the city was the point for attracting tourists from around the world.

I had hear about the water level falling down due to a half of decade old drought, But when I got the name of Quetta in to the category of most polluted cities of the world, it wasn’t less than a shock for me.

So we have to do something for saving lives of people and habitat of Quetta. Let’s get together sweep the circle around us, stop the pollution producing smoke from the garbage, wash out the roads that dusty particles may not suffer our lungs, eyes and other organs. We must urge for awareness raising measures for the residents of Quetta. Emphasizing the need in Quetta for urgency, Air pollution had enormously increased up to levels that could prove fatal, and the time to do something is now or never. We have to form a working group which will prepare a strategy to mobilize the community in Quetta city to create awareness of the hazardous impacts of air pollution .The awareness would be helpful to contribute in reduction and control of air pollution and hazardous gases.
