Conflict and conflict resolution

hi all pleasae let me share with  you a brief explanation about the conflict and the conflict resolution its what i accuired from a conflict resolution workshope in the summer of 2009
but 1st we should all know that there is a difference between a conflict and a fight ... the conflict can be managed and resoluted by discussions ... whereas the fight aims to cance the other
Definition :the conflict is a state of where the goals and the behavior of different people lies on different grounds it have many causes and it comes in many forms ... missunderstandings , lack of discussions can result in a conflict as well as the lack of justice , the unclearance of presenting our thoughts can result in a conflict too
th causes of conlict can be subdevided to , political reasons , geographical reasons, social reasons...
and there is 4 types of conflict : no conflict : when u have common goals and behaviors
hidden conflict when the goals are not common but the behaviors are coherent
shallow conflict : when the goals are common but the bevaiors are not coherent
abvious, clear conflict when neithere the goals are common nor the behaviors are coherent
methods for resoluting the different types of conflicts
hidden conflict (managing, diverging , cutting off )
shallow conflict (managing , compremizing, diverging)
abvious conflict (diverging, resoluting)
tools :
diagnosis : specificating all the parties that have direct or indirect realtion to the conflict and studying the interfered relations between them
the conflict tree : studying the relation between the effect and the causes ... search for the causes
negotiations (3rd party)
its a replacement for the violance that might occur as a result from the conflict
win win situation
