Swat Pakistan; Installation of Computer Lab in Panr Govt. Girls School Swat

The skylark group of GCC youth has accomplished the community service project “Installation of Computer Lab in Govt. Girls School Panr Swat” Panr is one of the beautiful place of District swat. Panr includes very traditional and cultural values. It is situated 20km away from Mingora city. The population of Panr is about 870 families, includes 65% of youth. Panr is the rural area having only one girl’s high school for the female. The peoples are away from the city that’s why they having no access to internet facility which is the need of modern era. As pukhtoon culture has a social constrains so they cannot allowed their daughters to go to the Mingora city for school and modern technology.

As according to technological and modern era the girls need special attention to latest technology and computer education. Most of the schools have their own computer lab facility, but in government girls high school Panr there has no such facility. They have no knowledge about computer basic software’s. So this facility will play a vital role to gain the basic knowledge about the E technology and to compete with 21st century challenges.
 The total worth of the project has 35400 in which CYAAD contribution is PKR34000 while community contribution is PKR 1400. The chairs and tables are also provided the school administration and the community.
