Women and Peace and Security:Resolution 1325(2000)

Resolution 1325(2000) holds out a promise to women across the globe that thier rights will be protected and that barriers to thier equal participation and full involvement  in the maintenance  and promotion of sustainable peace will be removed,and since that time we can say that we as women gained so much of our freedom,our role in the society and now we can share the men  taking  governmental responsibilities  in  government and we can say that the inclusion of women in peacekeeping missions ,military,organizations and police functions is the biggest evidence  of the active role of women in the modren society and we as women in Iraq still  are in progress  to gain our freedom,but Iam sure sooner or later we will gain it.
