Hunger Awareness Week @ Castro Valley High!

Wow, it's been quite a while since i've posted a blog on the GCC website! Crazy schedules these days! aha, anyways, i've also been very busy in helping to plan Hunger Awareness Week at my school. I am secretary of Castro Valley High School's United Cause Club, where we focus on global issues like world poverty. We are also affiliated with GCC, so we have Global Action Day campaigns. This year, we got on top of things and started planning Hunger Week two months in advance! *gasp* All this preparation really helped us get everything in order. We planned events for the entire week, all leading up to a Hunger Banquet on the last day. Hunger Week started yesterday (10/17) and ends on Friday (10/22). I'll update my blog with the outcome of all of the events on sunday of next week(:
