comparison between East & West in Parent & Child relationships

Hi every Body,
you know the best thing i like in this website is the combination between cultures from all over the world
 so there is alot of people here from eastern countries and on the other hand there is a lot of people too from western
countries so i will take that advantege to make a qeustion to every one of you 
the question is  what's the difference in the relationship between "parent and child" in the Eastern countries and Western
countries ,I hope to hear from you all cause that will make more understanding between 
cultures and indeed between us
