    In Kalar, GCC Youth implemented an athletic community service project, which served to revitalize one of the city’s playgrounds.  The Youth supplied a water pump for watering the grass, hoses, wastebaskets, and materials to repair destroyed parts of the fences.

    GCC leaders launched a massive cleaning campaign in the clubhouse neighborhood in Aaman, Jordan in order to promote change by providing an example to people.  The action was implemented on Independence Day as part of the national celebrations and activities.

    Reducing trash is one of the GCC climate change initiatives. In order to help diminish the effects of litter, the GCC Youth of Iraq-Khanaqin continued working on the art trash initiative. They implemented an awareness project aimed at inspiring the community to reuse  and reduce trash.

    The six schools in Al Kut city participated in Kut leaders’ increasing climate change awareness campaign. By the end of April, GCC youth groups in Kut, in coordination with six environmental experts, implemented the action project in six schools.
