In response to the devastating earthquake in Haiti, Architecture for Humanity, the Bezos Family Foundation and Global Nomads Group have partnered to create STUDENTS REBUILD, a $500,000 matching challenge grant that invites students around the globe to rebuild better, safer schools in Haiti. 

This Peace Corps guide is a resource for Volunteers and their community partners to plan, design, implement and assess local service or volunteerism activities. The aim of the V2 Action Guide is to support existing or new host country volunteerism efforts. Applying a service learning approach when possible, this publication shows Volunteers how to add value to their capacity building work by helping participants in volunteer activities identify learning goals and integrate reflection (learning) in their work.

The Haitian Project wants YOU to come to Haiti to work with impoverished and disadvantaged youth at Loverture Cleary School (LCS) in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. In order to apply you must have graduated from college with a BA or BS and have the will to teach. The organization is faith-based however you do not need to be Catholic to apply nor do the targeted kids in Haiti have to adopt Catholocism to go to LCS.
