What It means to me

Global Citizen, not just me.

Change the idea of "I" to "we."

Be aware on a global scale,

And rid yourself of obscene tales.

"We must be the change we wish to see."

We all have that opportunity.

Decide for yourself on what can be done,

And show the whole world the power of one.

Have a common respect for others,

For they might be our distant brothers.

With the same goals of success and joy,

This tie between us can be destroyed.

So understanding another is the first stride,

Towards an awareness that we're all the same inside.

After all, we share the same home,

And no one wants to be alone.
