You're Just like Me

You and I,

We're just alike,

At some point in our lives,

We've had to fight,

Whether it be for respect,

Or just plain recognition,

Because we're caught up in a mission,

To become what we are meant to be,

Trying to obtain,

What we've been missing,

Feeling down,

Feeling blue,

Wishing there was something that we could do,

To prevent this world,

Our world from breaking into two,

We do this by volunteering,

Recycling,

Caring,

And sharing,

We're so much alike,

So let's take flight,

Into a world,

In which is operated by one race,

And one race alone,

The human race
